50th Reunion | 2015

The 50th Reunion of the HGS class of 1965 took place on Friday June 12 and Saturday June 13, 2015. It was, like our previous reunions, an extraordinary event, principally because so many of our class returned.

Friday, June 12:

• The reception began with a reception and dinner at the home of Head of School Barbara Riley. Photo above... Attendees were: Front Row: Alan Milstone, Tom Burkhardt, Jim Waterman, Bob Schulz, Tom Delaney, Paul O'Connell and Robert Wintsch.

Saturday, June 13:

• The day began with Luncheon at the Heath Center. The 2015 Distinguished Alumnus Award was presented to Jim Lapides, class of '70. An authority in poster art, he gave a fascinating oration. Click here to learn more about his award.

• We then walked across the campus in gorgeous weather to the huge tent set up for the Reunion Dinner and Entertainment. Our class banner was hung from the ceiling. There was wine to start, a chance to reconnect, and then dinner with entertainment by Hopkins students of another generation.

• But the only thing that really mattered was the company of our classmates.
